What You’ll Do in This Role
As an HSE Professional, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring that safety and compliance are always top priorities. Here’s a glimpse of what your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Supporting Management:
- Help top management implement and maintain safety policies and guidelines.
- Regularly update, review, and audit our HSE systems to ensure we meet corporate standards.
- Assessing Risks:
- Identify hazards in the workplace and come up with ways to minimize risks.
- Conduct detailed risk assessments and prepare HSE documentation for new projects.
- Conducting Safety Audits:
- Review and update our safety procedures to keep up with legislation and company policies.
- Carry out internal and external audits to ensure everything is up to balance.
- Investigating and Improving:
- Investigate any incidents, analyze patterns, and suggest practical improvements.
- Provide in-house safety training to keep our team informed and prepared.
- Starting Strong:
- Work closely with teams during the startup phase of contracts to set clear safety plans and procedures.
Your work will be crucial in making sure everyone at Cheezious can focus on what they do best in a safe and supportive environment.
What We’re Looking For
To succeed in this role, here’s what we need from you:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Certification in NEBOSH or OSHA to show you’re familiar with global safety standards.
- A proven track record of successfully implementing safety programs.
- A solid understanding of HSE regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and a knack for solving problems effectively.
