🔍 Role Overview – Assistant Manager Financial & Costing

In this full-time position based in Islamabad, you will take charge of the product costing structure, perform variance analysis, oversee budgeting, and assist in preparing monthly and annual financial statements.

This role combines both operational and financial responsibilities, making it ideal for individuals with a strong accounting background and keen insight into cost control and process efficiency.

The selected candidate will:

• Manage and maintain product standard costing, BOMs, and cost structures.
• Perform cost variance analysis related to labor, materials, and overhead.
• Monitor inventory valuation and work within ERP platforms (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Partner with procurement and production teams to establish cost-effective strategies.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Support pricing decisions and profitability evaluations.
• Prepare and file tax returns (GST, TDS, Income Tax) in coordination with consultants.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors and provide necessary documentation.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and management information reporting (MIS).
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, Ind AS, and local accounting regulations.

🎓 Qualifications and Experience

• A Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (MBA/M.Com).
• Preferred qualifications such as CMA, CA Inter, or ICWA.
• 3–7 years of relevant experience in costing and financial accounting, preferably in manufacturing.
